Volkswagen Scirocco R Milltek Exhaust

Milltek Sport offers a fantastic ultra-high flowing exhaust system for the hottest Scirocco, the Scirocco R.

To suit various international markets and individual tastes, the exhaust is available with a number of different configurations (see also photos at the bottom of this page):

1. Cat-back
   Replaces all the parts from after the catalyst back with much higher-flowing, larger diameter and smoother radius mandrel-bent stainless steel performance parts. The cat-back system not only releases a much better sound (deeper and more meaningful without being intrusive in the cabin), but it also sharpens throttle response and increases power. There is no requirement to remap the ECU to fit the cat-back exhaust.
   
   
2. EC / EG Type-Approved Cat-back
   This is the same as above but is designed specifically to pass homologation tests in order to meet the standards set for aftermarket parts in many parts of the EU (such as TÜV in Germany and CH-homologation in Switzerland) and some other countries around the World. It features larger rear silencers but still manages to offer a great sound along with increased performance.
   
   
3. Full Turbo-back
   The full turbo-back exhaust marries the cat-back exhaust system with a large-bore turbo downpipe and a 200CPSI (cells per square inch - refers to the density of the catalyst internals, see Hi-flow sports cats for more information) German-made HJS hi-flow sports catalyst for a simply stunning throttle response, incredible sound and exceptional power gains. Due to the higher flowing sports catalyst the car will require a Stage 2 ECU remap.
   
   
4. Full Race Turbo-back
   The same as the 'Full Turbo-back' above but features an even higher-flowing 100CPSI hi-flow sports catalyst and has straight-through pipes in place of the rear silencers (non-resonated rear silencers). Not only does this system offer the absolute maximum performance for highly-tuned vehicles but, perhaps most impressive of all, is the way it doesn't drone at all - even on a long journey!!
   
   
5. Decatted Large-bore Downpipe
   Milltek Sport also produces a large-bore downpipe without the catalyst for racing-only or for sale in markets where catalysts are not required. This section is designed to work in conjunction with the Milltek Sport cat-back system.

Regardless of which option you choose, you will be getting an exhaust which is made from the finest quality 14-16 gauge 3-inch ⌀ T304 stainless steel and features TIG-welded joints, C.N.C. mandrel bending and offers a significant weight saving over the OEM exhaust.

To complete your new exhaust system, Milltek Sport has carefully selected a choice of two different tailpipe styles, Polished 100mm GT100 dual-skin or Gloss Black Oval. The choice is yours. Drag the vertical bar below left or right to see the car with either or both tailpipe options.
